I am working with the new and interesting High CPV model Beta in SAM right now. Here my first suggestions concerning a later update:
- The most important one: could you include a loss chain, as known in PVsyst? This could e.g. be located in the "data table".
Especially for CPV, it would be very interesting to know where the energy goes. Important losses would be amongst others: Air mass modifier losses, Cell temperature losses..
- Shading is always a topic for CPV, even more than for PV. It would be practical to be able to import PVsyst shading scenarios again. (this would be another loss to include in the "data table")
- Angle limits of the CPV Tracker (e.g. in the morning, evening) are diminishing the output further by several percents.
