Can you tell me which parasitic power "bucket" contains the feedwater pumps' power? This is a power tower/molten salt receiver/steam cycle system.

Hello,

SAM does not account for feedwater pumping power as a separate parasitic load.

Instead, the loss is accounted for in the power cycle model: The gross cycle electric power output is the turbine's output less the feedwater pumping power. SAM does not report the feedwater pumping power in the model's results.

Best regards,
Paul.
