It would be great if a static input for number of holidays (non-weekends) in a year can be provided in the Energy Payment Dispatch page for Utility Scale Financing Model where TOD pricing is used. Most holidays are treated similar to weekend schedules. Adding a fixed number of holidays will help to provide a more realistic LCOE estimate.

        Thank you for the suggestion.
Because SAM is an hourly simulation model, it would need to know specifically when the holidays occur. A single input for number of holidays per year would not provide enough information for SAM to know during what hours to apply the holiday rates. For example, a summer holiday might have a different impact on the LCOE than a winter holiday.
Do you have a sense of how significant the impact of holidays would be on the LCOE estimates?
Best regards,
Paul.
