Optimization of solar field was created by Gabo
Hi, I'm running a simulation of a power tower with molten salts as HTF but when I run de optimization of the solar field it returns higher values everytime. I try changing parameters but it keeps getting higher. what can I do about it?

Dear Gabo,
I'm not sure what you mean. Could you describe what input parameters you are changing, and exactly what results are different from what you expect?
Best regards,
Paul.

I changed Solar multiple, tower heigh, loads hours of TES,heliostat count.
Every time I Optimize, de values like heliostat rows, tower high, receiver dimentions gets bigger even when I try to exaggerate dimentions the optimization makes it bigger.

Please see "Using SolarPILOT for Field Optimization" in SAM's Help system, which is in the "Heliostat Field" topic for the molten salt power tower model for a description of how SAM optimizes the solar field for the power tower models. I think that description will help you understand the results you are seeing.

Paul.
