The NEM on check box disables the sell rate and says that works for most utilities. I am in California, it is my understanding that CA utilities are to buy the solar power at the retail rate they would charge for it at the time the power was generated.
Therefore, I have unchecked Net Metering and copied the buy rate over to the sell rate per tier....
I am still not getting the results I would expect for a TOU rate schedule. The report says the total cost of grid energy without the system is better with TOU. However, the total cost of grid energy with the system on TOU is higher than it is on a flat teired rate schedule. This is not making sense. When I uncheck net metering the issue gets worse. The cost goes up.
Please advise as to what the correct Net metering state is for California.
