CEC Param 6 error was created by arshdks
To whom it may concern,
I am trying to analyze the effects of a BIPV facade using SAM. I am using the CEC Performance model with User entered specifications. I have assured the parameters that I have entered are correct because they are from a company's technical handout. However, I keep on receiving this error message, " CEC 6 parameter model: Could not solve for normalized coefficients. Please check your inputs". I have attached the document I am using for your convenience. Please help!
Best,
Arsh Kahlon

Dear Arsh,
I could not find the number of cells in series in the data sheet you provided, so I used 100 cells based on the number of cells in the TSMC CIGS modules in the CEC database. Using that value and the other parameters from the data sheet, SAM was able to calculated a power curve. Also, be sure to use the correct units for the temperature coefficients of Voc and Isc -- use the dropdown list to choose %/C for both to match the units in the data sheet.
Best regards,
Paul.
