Operation mode values

Hi,
in some SHW files I experience "Operation mode" values of either 1, 2 or 3 while in some other files, I only get values of 2 or 3. The help file however only refers to values of 1 or 2.

Is the three values a bug? What does value of 3 refer to?

Mode 3 was added in September but it doesn't look like the help was updated, sorry about that. The operation modes are as follows:

1 - Startup mode, during hours when useful energy is collected and tank temperature is somewhat stratified
2 - Mixed Mode, during hours when useful energy is collected and tank temperature is fairly uniform
3 - Stratified mode, during hours no useful energy is collected and tank temperature is very stratified.

So, no the three value is not a bug. Your recent questions all make it clear that it would be beneficial to revisit the technical manual and work to get it published.

The patch for SAM version 6.30.2015 has been released. The patch addresses the issue with multiple collectors and should prompt to download upon opening SAM.
