Determination of Collector Area was created by hmomuye
Dear Paul,
On the collector page for parabolic trough CSP, Does the reflective aperture area represent the collectors area. If not how do i determined it. Also, how do i determine the number of collectors.
My best regards.
Muye Mohammed

Dear Mohammed,
The "total aperture reflective area" shown under "Design Point" on the Solar Field page is the area of the reflective surfaces of all loops in the field. It is the product of the loop aperture area and the number of loops in the field. The number of collectors per loop is an input on that page under "Single Loop Configuration." For more details and descriptions, see the Solar Field topic in Help.
Best regards,
Paul.
