Thanks for the reminder. However on the Heliostat field page, only one box is available to check to run the field optimization wizard. Could that be what you mean by checking the Always layout automatically and Optimize solar field geometry boxes?

You must not be using the latest version of SAM. The optimization options I describe are for the current version (SAM 2015.1.30).
