Solar array rooftop model

Sorry to bother you new to the software. where do I find the capability to actually generate a depiction of the proposed solar rooftop array.

Dear Joe,

SAM does not generate a visual representation of the system. You provide it with basic information about the array layout, and it estimates the system's electrical output and calculates financial metrics. SAM is not a layout tool that you can use to determine where to place modules on a rooftop.

The 3D shade calculator allows you to draw a picture of the array and nearby shade objects to estimate the effect of shading on the system's output.
