SamUL script for multiple (tilts, azimuths, and annual energy production) was created by knightd
Hello,
I'm hoping someone might be able to help get me on the right track.
I’m trying to create a data lookup table for Austin, TX. I was hoping to use the SamUL scripting to create a csv file that would contain various tilts, azimuths and total energy yield for a 1kw system for Austin, TX at a .77 derate. Or if you think there's an easy way to do this with the excel exchange that would work as well.
Could you help provide a sample file or assistance on writing the script for this?
Tilt: 0-60
Azimuth:90-300
Location:Austin, TX (any zip or 78705 whichever)
derate:.77
System size:1kw
annual energy:total
example table:
Azimuths
Tilts 0 1 2 3
Total KWH/yr
90 1232
91 1232 1232
92 1232 1232
93
I appreciate any assistance you could provide.
Warmest Regards,
Dina

Dear Dina,
You could write a script to do that, or can generate the table in SAM 2014.1.14 by running parametric simulations (see this example ( ZSAM 800 KB ). Here's a graph from that file:
Best regards,
Paul.
