I mean that Lower heating value in the input page of the feedstock in Biomass power model (Average LHV).

Dear Suzan,

The "Average biomass higher heating value (HHV)" values is calculated using a set of fixed parameters that are built in to the user interface code. You can see the HHV value for a single feedstock by setting the "Resource Available" value for all other feedstocks to zero. For example, the HHV for Bagasse is 8269.13 Btu/dry-lb.

Like the average HHV value, the average LHV value is calculated using a set of internal fixed parameters for each feedstock. Please see "Technical Manual for the SAM Biomass Power Generation Model" for more details about how the model works:
