Hello,
The number of SCAs in the physical trough model depends on the number of SCAs per loop, which is an input that you specify at the bottom of the Solar Field page. The number of loops in the field depends on the field area or solar multiple that you specify. For more details, see the topic for the Solar Field page in SAM's Help system.
