Unable to View options under " Tabular Data Browser" was created by Vijaykrishna
Hello,
Under the Output page under "tabular data browser" i could always choose what quantities i wanted to view. However after i upgraded my computer ( to a dell precision T1600 with a Xenon processor) with the latest version of Sam(sam-win32-2011-12-2) installed, i am unable to view choices under the "tabular data browser" tab, Please see image attached . I tried installing legacy versions of Sam to see if issue was specific to the latest release, but it did not make any difference. Any suggestions?
Thanks
VIjay

I'm checking in with the programmers to see what the problem might be. In the meantime, please try pressing F7 and F3 for each case to clear results and the cache and then running simulations again. Does that solve the problem?
(Those commands are also available from the Case and File menues, respectively.)
Best regards,
Paul.

Hi again -- One possibility is that the number of cases in your file is using up graphical resources. Please try creating a new file with a single case and let me know whether the data tables display correctly.
If the data tables display correctly in the file with one case, limiting the number of cases in your files to two or three may avoid the issue. To continue working with your current file with five cases, you could make two copies of the file, and delete two or three of the cases in each.
This issue may be more of a problem in SAM 2011.12.2 than in older versions because the new version's integrated time series data viewer makes more demands on your computer's graphical resources than older versions. Different computers with different graphical resources will be more or less affected by this issue.
Thanks,
Paul.

Sir Paul,
Thanks again for all the prompt replies. I tried F3/F7 key to Clear cache and tried deleting all the cases( to just one, as you had mentioned) but still no luck. I am running a xenon 3.1 GHz with 8 Gm ram and a Nvedia Quadro 600 Graphics card. I use this machine for modelling to, so my graphic resource should not be an issue. I have attached an updated screen shot( with all but one case deleted).
Please let me know if you would need any thing else from my side.
Thanks again
Vijay

Thank you Vijay for helping us troubleshoot this issue.
Do you have the same problem when you start from scratch? Please try starting SAM and creating a new file and let me know whether you see the data tables after running simulations.
Best regards,
Paul.
