Hi,
In the power cycle, the "estimated gross to net conversion factor" which consumptions include? The HTF pumps, both receiver and power cycle, are included?
Thanks

Hello,
In the CSP models, SAM uses the "estimated gross to net conversion factor" to calculate the power cycle's nameplate capacity, which it considers to be the system's nameplate capacity for cost and incentive calculations that are given in dollars per kilowatt of system nameplate capacity. It should be an estimate of the ratio of the electric energy delivered to the grid to the power cycle's electric output, and should account for any electricity you expect the system to consume.
Best regards,
Paul.
