azimuth in solar posision mode

Hi
i m facing a problem
HOW SHOULD I USE AZIMUTH ANGLE ?
IS ITS ORIGIN FROM NORTH OR SOUTH? CLOCKWISE OR COUNTER_CLOCKWISE ?

Paul Gilman

Hello,

For the photovoltaic models, for a tilted array, an azimuth angle of 0 degrees is for an array facing north, 90 degrees is facing east, 180 degrees is facing south, and 270 degrees is facing west.

For the CSP models, an azimuth angle of 0 degrees is pointing toward the equator, equivalent to a north-south axis. An azimuth angle of 90 degrees is west, and -90 degrees is east.

Best regards,
Paul.
