How many locations for weather data are available for Alberta was created by ming
We are assessing the potential to adopt SAM model to do system wide solar and wind generation simulation.
the 1st question is that, for the purpose of solar generation and wind generation simulation, How many locations for weather data are available for Alberta in "Location and Resource" ?

Thanks Paul for the quick response and additional information of NSRDB.
I see the coverage of Alberta. Does that mean it has the weather data for every 4km within the extent of coverage ?

Yes, the geospatial resolution of the NSRDB PSM V3 data is 4 km x 4 km: nsrdb.nrel.gov/about/u-s-data.html
