Simulation of CSP Power tower direct steam stops was created by Alexandros Tsimp
Dear community,

I am simulating a CSP plant with central tower direct steam technology. My simulation stops after I insert a field from SolarPilot and I cannot find which value or parameter triggers this state. I upload the SAM file for any thoughts. Thank you in advance.

Hi Alexandros,

We removed the direct steam power tower model from SAM as of SAM 2020.11.29 because it is designed to model a specific system. It is not flexible enough to model different configurations of systems.

We also removed the dish Stirling model in that version of SAM.

We no longer provide support for either of those models.
