Solar Field Initial temperature was created by sidom

Hello Paul,

I am working with SAM Empirical model. Does solar field initial parameter works properly? I am trying to change it and find the difference in the first hour of the simulation but this parameter does not change. What is it about?

Hello,

There is a bug in the Empirical Trough model that causes the initial field temperature not to have an impact on the results. However, this only affects the system's output in the first hour of 8,760, so it does not have a significant impact on the overall results.

We will include a fix to this problem in an interim update.
