        Good morning,
In the data tables, when you select the hourly simulation of any parameter SAM shows the value of this parameter each hour (0 h, 1 h, 2h...). The shown value is the average calculated for a period of time:
What is exactly this period of time for each row of the table?
For example:
The solar field thermal output that is in the row of 7 pm, it has been calculated from 6.30 to 7.30, or from 6 to 7?
thanks in advance

Please see the explanation in SAM's Help system:

Thanks a lot, but i have read this document and it's not very clear.
For example, in the hour 7 SAM chooses:
- Solar angle and incident angle at 6.30
- The wind speed, ambient temperature, and humidity values at 7
Is that correct?
Thanks
Best regards

        Hi Nora,
That is correct for one of the TMY files from the National Solar Radiation Database: The weather file contains a single set of values for the hour 7. The solar angle values in that hour represent the sun's position at 6:30. The solar radiation values are the total radiation over the hour that ends at 7. The wind speed, ambient temperature, and humidity values are instantaneous values at 7.
Best regards,
Paul.
