Doubt regarding Temperature correction factor of cooling towers was created by AlexAlatec
Hello,
I'm calculating a CSP plant and it has a cooling tower that has not been defined yet. Anyhow, does the manufacturer supply the temperature correction factor? How can i calculate the 4 factors that SAM requires?
I have seen that there are some libraries that include these values, Where could i download more libraries for SAM?
Thank you very much
Alex

Hi Alex,
I am guessing that you are modeling a parabolic trough system with the Empirical Trough model. You may want to consider using the Physical Trough model which does not use the empirical coefficients you mention.
Best regards,
Paul.
