I input an average kW for 8760 hours under the user entered hourly data from my load calc software. I see the electricity to grid is the difference between hourly energy available and electric load in the output data table. Why does the electricity load (kWh) output in the hourly table not match up with the load I input for each hour?

        Hello,
The values in the Results page data table for "Electricity Load (kWh)" should match the values you see in the hourly table on the Electric Load page as long as the value of the scaling factor on the Electric Load page is one, and as long as the data you provided consists of 8,760 rows.
Note that SAM displays the load data on the Results page as negative values.
If the scaling factor does not explain the difference in your file, please attach a copy of your file (.zsam) to a reply to this post, and I will try to help troubleshoot.
Best regards,
Paul.
