Is it possible to model PV generation without an inverter? was created by Clarissa
Hi all,
My PV generation will provide electricity for an electrolyzer, which also operates in DC. That said, is it possible for me to not model the inverter in SAM?
Thanks in advance

Hi Clarissa,
SAM's PV models assume that the PV array is connected to an inverter. SAM does report the array's DC output in the results, so perhaps you could use that data for your analysis.
Best regards,
Paul.
