How to import 3D sketch pro file into SAM was created by aeosenergiea
Hello Sir/Madam,
I am Sagar Jadhav, using SAM for simulation for solar PV, I have prepared model in sketchup pro, but unable to import it into SAM.
Please guide me how to do that or any other software that SAM is easily access the 3D file.

Hi Sagar,
SAM's 3D shade calculator does not have an import function to import files from SketchUp or or CAD software.
If you are familiar with computer programming or scripting and with the SketchUp file format, you could use the shade calculator's scripting capability to write your own script to import the files.
