I have read the description in the help menu, but I still concern about my understanding

Can anyone describe it more clear?

"
Full load hours of storage, hours

The nominal thermal storage capacity expressed in hours at full load: The number of hours that the storage system can supply energy at the cycle's design point.

SAM displays the equivalent storage capacity in MWht on the System Costs page.

Solar field hours of storage, hours

The nominal thermal storage capacity expressed in hours of the solar field's design thermal power output.

Solar Field Hours of Storage = Full Load Hours of Storage รท Solar Multiple

Hello,

Those two quantities, "full load hours of storage" and "solar field hours of storage" are different ways of describing the storage capacity. Full load hours of storage is the number of hours that the thermal energy storage system can supply the power cycle at its rated capacity. Solar field hours of storage is the equivalent number of hours that the solar field would have to supply heat at its design point.

Best regards,
Paul.
