Problem while loading a particular year data

Dear Sir,

I am trying to add the solar data of a particular year (say 2002) for simulation but it is unable to load.

I have started to do so with "download" by putting the name of city and selecting a particular year. But it gives the notice that "Failed to decompress the downloaded weather data".

What is ZIP code? Lets say I am trying for New Delhi (India) what would be the zip code and other things i have to fill to simulate a particular year data. I have also tried with longitude and latitude but the same error has occured.

Dear Suraj,

First of all, is there a reason you are using SAM 2015.6.30 instead of the current version, SAM 2016.3.14? I would recommend using the latest version unless you have a reason to use the older version.

For the moment, SAM cannot automatically download weather data for locations in the South Asia region. You can download files from the NSRDB website to use in SAM. We are working to fix that -- eventually it will be possible to type a street address or latitude and longitude for locations in the part of Asia covered by the NSRDB database.
