Dear SAM users;
I have been working on the SEGS VI model on the SAM 2016.3.14 for a while.

Now I also start to work on the SEGS IX model on the SAM 2016.3.14.
I work with the empirical trough model and the physical trough model on the same file (SEGSIX20160826Saracoglu.sam).
I will first try to finalize the pure solar models.
I take Michael Wagner's SEGS IX model on SAM 2014.1.14 as the base model in this research study.

I found some documents related with the SEGS IX.
I will try to find some additional documents related with the SEGS IX.
I will revise some of the items.
Please find the SEGSIX20160826Saracoglu.sam file (As Draft) for the SEGS IX original configuration model (draft revision 26/08/2016).
Please do not use this file in any of your studies such as MSc. Thesis and PhD. Thesis. This file is not ready to be used for any research activity yet.
If you know SEGS IX, please contribute to this research and help me to fill in all of the items correctly.
I will try to contact to the researchers and the engineers who worked on the SEGS to verify all of the items to present to SAM users as final in 2017.

The SEGS IX physical trough model on the SAM 2016.3.14 according to Michael Wagner's SEGS IX model on SAM 2014.1.14 is in the attachment (SEGSIX20160828Saracoglu.sam).
I have not studied any documents related with the SEGS IX yet.
However, I do think that SAM users can use this file (SEGS IX physical trough model on the SAM 2016.3.14) as their baseline or benchmark model (only according to Michael Wagner's SEGS IX model).
Please be informed that the simulation results differ with different versions of SAM. For instance SAM 2014 and SAM 2016 give different results.
Please feel free to use this file (SEGSIX20160828Saracoglu.sam) in your studies such as MSc. Thesis and PhD. Thesis.
The empirical trough model is not ready to be used for any research activity yet.
If you know SEGS IX, please contribute to this research and help me to fill in all of the items correctly.

The SAM 2016.3.14 is crashed during the simulation of this physical trough model.
I already sent the crash report via an e-mail to the NREL.
